Dr. Ulf Schuetze

Dr. Ulf Schuetze is a Professor of Second Language Acquisition in the Department of Germanic and Slavic Studies at the University of Victoria. In addition, Ulf serves as the Associate Director of the Digital Second Language Learning Lab. His research in computer-assisted language learning, lexical processing, as well as the sustainability of technology in second language acquisition, applies theoretical frameworks to teaching. He has written numerous articles on effective language learning that have been published in international journals world-wide. His most recent publication, Language Learning and the Brain: Lexical Processing in Second Language Acquisition (Cambridge University Press, 2017), illustrates the dynamic environment when recording and producing language. Dr. Ulf is a part of Infusion, supervising Curriculum Development.
